Three Little Wishes Photography is a collection of passionate photographers who want to share their expertise. To teach and inspire all levels of amateur photographer to pick up their cameras and start experimenting and taking pictures which exceed their expectations.
But most importantly we want to make sure you have fun whilst discovering the talents you have, we want to educate in a way that is enjoyable and memorable. To create workshops that excite and answer all the questions. So whether you live in Auckland or Wellington hopefully we have a workshop that will inspire you.
About DebbieDeborah Foreman is the Founder of Three Little Wishes Photography.With a high level of experience in the Commercial sector, Deborah worked for one of Londonʼs premier real estate companies photographing some of the countryʼs most expensive homes. Later she went on to own an award winning lighting and Interior design company before moving to Auckland with her family. Her people skills, attention to detail and creativity make her a photographer with passion who listens and produces work that delights her clients and exceeds expectation. Keen to make sure that others experience the joy of Photography she set up the Workshops in New Zealand and pulled together a team of experienced photographers and tutors. "It is our aim to inspire photographers at every level whilst having fun and learning this amazing art." |

About KarlKarl Howe has over 15 years of commercial industry experience with such highlights as photographing several high profile ad campaigns for clients like BNZ, Super 12 Rugby, Plunket and many more. After completing his Master of Arts (Hons) in 2005, Karl has been working in the photography and design field. With a real passion for both people and photography, he has also lectured at Auckland University Manukau Campus and AUT in Auckland city. Recently, Karl has been combining his love of people, photography and design, into the video production field and is always approachable and excited to share his diverse skill set |
About StephenStephen Long is a photographer with decades of experience both as a passionate amateur and as a commercial shooter, regularly photographing weddings, events and sports and preferring a documentary style over posed scenes.
However, it is his background as a chef who has worked in acclaimed restaurants around the world that sets him apart in his specialist genre of food photography. He has shot for several restaurants and food brands alike, and is as comfortable shooting food in natural light as in studio light. He is currently a culinary arts tutor and is excited to combine his love for photography with his relaxed teaching style to educate and inspire. A true all-rounder, Stephen has a keen artistic eye for landscapes, fine art, abstract, travel and street photography and is never happier than with a camera in his hand. Stephen obtained a Diploma in Digital Photography in 2016 and has had work published in NZ Camera and I Am New Zealand books. He has also had work exhibited at Railway Street Studios |
About RobbieRobert Peters is a Director and Screenwriter working in the film industry for the past 9 years. ‘Money Honey’, a short film he produced won the UNESCO Wellington City of Film Award in 2020 at the NZIFF.
Aside from directing and producing, Robert has worked as both a Camera Assistant, DIT and Assistant Grip, giving him a deep understanding of the demands of filmmaking both technically and creatively. As a celluloid enthusiast, Robert shoots and develops 35mm and 120mm film stocks, both in his spare time and on set.
He draws particular inspiration from photographers such as Vivian Maier and Don Hogan Charles, which informs his style of candid street photography with a strong emphasis on subjects and portraiture. Photography is one of his key inspirations and Robert relishes any opportunity to share that passion with others.

About GraemeGraeme Carlisle has been a professional photographer in New Zealand’s film industry for over 14 years. He has worked on blockbuster movies like 'The Lord of the Rings', 'The Hobbit', 'Dracula Untold', 'Ghost in the Shell' and 'Mortal Engines'. In these movies he has photographed actors, stuntmen, doubles, extras, costumes, Jewellery, props, vehicles, miniatures, sets and has photographed and documented a vast amount of lighting setups too.
Graeme has a deep love and enthusiasm for photography, always pushing the envelope of what is possible. If he’s not working on a movie he’s out in the countryside photographing the galaxy above, or taking photos and video at an event or wedding. He thoroughly enjoys discussing photography with others, sharing his knowledge and experience and loves nothing more than helping others make their photographic dreams a reality.

In the UK she worked with an award-winning photography training team and is as passionate about teaching as she is about photography. Over the years she has found her favourite subjects to be wildlife and people, fascinated by the candid moments that flash by in the blink of an eye. |
